BUM BUM BUM BUM BA-BUM

Oh Spawn, you and you're gritty, beautiful, samples.

Oh god

This is by far my favorite track from you. You just keep getting better and better and your style keeps improving. I see you made use of the vocal sample you wanted me to flip :D. 10'd, 5'd and favorited.

freddyfinger responds:

haha yeah i didn't think i'd be using it actually. i still think you could do some cool shit with it

Oh my god

The beat is fucking amazing. This whole track is amazing. 5'd, 10'd and it's going in my favorites.

Scribbler responds:

"The Adventure Begins" is one of my favorite beats on NG. I really appreciate the review and look forward to hearing more from you (both music and review-wise.) Thanks. ^__^

I really wish that you were more recognized on NG

I really don't think the Ella Fitzgerald vocals fit near the end. If you just took out a verse and chopped it I think you'd be able to make something work. I am loving your chill style so much. I really don't hear much side chaining, but that really doesn't matter because this really doesn't need one.
We should collab some time, I think it'd turn out great!

freddyfinger responds:

Yeah this was pretty experimental for me. I've always wanted to try to have a jazz singer in a hip-hop beat, like a remix (Sorta like the 'Slap That Bass' Petalpusher remix). I'll probably try to play around with this some more and see what I can come up with. The side-chaining is really weird in Reason, lol. If you hear a comparison between with it on and off you can see it but it can be difficult to hear. I was wondering it myself, going through tracks on this website like "How did they get that side-chain so deep?" lol. I think it's the program, I read about more of it on some websites but it all said the same things.

Thanks a lot for the review and support, I really appreciate it. I think i'm going to take a little more time to work on some beats to get better and we can definitely work together. A collab with you would be really awesome man.

Not really a genre I'm familiar with reviewing,

But I like the dark vibe it gives. I'm getting some distortion from the bass sometimes, JUST MIGHT WANNA TONE THAT DOWN. Other than that, great track.

Druids-Warcry responds:

yeah i feel that shit, i really should turn them down

still rippin dat sheeit

n***a u tore dat shit up tpain style shit man u rippin it man i coulda sworn dis was kanye and tpain collab gret suttf

Blasphem-E responds:

Ya man, this is some heavy commercial shit. Ain't no mothafucka able to step to this shiat! YEA! HOLLA!!

Oh god

This is fucking magical. I've been waiting for a new track from you all of this weekend. Great job, but I wish you would've got on aim recently. IMO, this would've been great with a slight sidechain, but nonetheless, great track.

5'd, and Faved/

Sirhc7000 responds:

lol ay i was tryna talk to you one nite but u weren't on AIM. w/e. Thx for the review dogg. Let me know if u have anything new. I'm gonna check rite now actually. Peace.

In my opinion,

The guitar sample could've used a delay on it, and some very light reverb to add to the spacey-ness. Yeah the drums need a bit more compressing or whatever but other then that, great track.

Damn

Why is this voted so low? I love the ambient feel of the song so much. I really don't know what else to say apart from make this longer.

Well

You are using loops from a site I don't remember the name of. For starters, get a trial of reason or something that can make hardstyle kicks. Hardstyle is also at a faster tempo than that, I'd say around 155. I don't know what else to say apart from just get your own kicks and up the BPM.

DjSirah responds:

I found alot of loop packs on www.hardsamples.com
Okey, thanks for the advice :)
