But seriously, I look up to you on this site.

Awhile back you wanted me to check out your shit

and now I am. After listening to a few of your beats, I already really like your style. I wasn't really getting the spring vibe, but then again thats just me. The drums fit nicely, and the samples were ok. My only complaint really is the bass. There could have been a little bit more of it, but nice job anyways. I'll be checking your shit out a lot more from now on.

Kamikazi1 responds:

Thanks man, i'd really appreciate it!

Oh god

This is by far my favorite track from you. You just keep getting better and better and your style keeps improving. I see you made use of the vocal sample you wanted me to flip :D. 10'd, 5'd and favorited.

freddyfinger responds:

haha yeah i didn't think i'd be using it actually. i still think you could do some cool shit with it

Oh my god

The beat is fucking amazing. This whole track is amazing. 5'd, 10'd and it's going in my favorites.

Scribbler responds:

"The Adventure Begins" is one of my favorite beats on NG. I really appreciate the review and look forward to hearing more from you (both music and review-wise.) Thanks. ^__^

I really wish that you were more recognized on NG

I really don't think the Ella Fitzgerald vocals fit near the end. If you just took out a verse and chopped it I think you'd be able to make something work. I am loving your chill style so much. I really don't hear much side chaining, but that really doesn't matter because this really doesn't need one.
We should collab some time, I think it'd turn out great!

freddyfinger responds:

Yeah this was pretty experimental for me. I've always wanted to try to have a jazz singer in a hip-hop beat, like a remix (Sorta like the 'Slap That Bass' Petalpusher remix). I'll probably try to play around with this some more and see what I can come up with. The side-chaining is really weird in Reason, lol. If you hear a comparison between with it on and off you can see it but it can be difficult to hear. I was wondering it myself, going through tracks on this website like "How did they get that side-chain so deep?" lol. I think it's the program, I read about more of it on some websites but it all said the same things.

Thanks a lot for the review and support, I really appreciate it. I think i'm going to take a little more time to work on some beats to get better and we can definitely work together. A collab with you would be really awesome man.

Not really a genre I'm familiar with reviewing,

But I like the dark vibe it gives. I'm getting some distortion from the bass sometimes, JUST MIGHT WANNA TONE THAT DOWN. Other than that, great track.

Druids-Warcry responds:

yeah i feel that shit, i really should turn them down
